Amba is a traditional Iraqi sauce, created in the early 19th century in Baghdad by the Sassoon family. This sauce, with its origins in India from the famous "mango chutney", brings the Amba sauce a rich history and a unique taste experience to the Netherlands. Amba is mainly used as a sauce for falafel but is also delicious on sandwiches with boiled egg or in salad. Amba is made with fenugreek, turmeric, and chili as basic ingredients and is therefore also healthy!!
